  • Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs

    The Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Education and Prevention Coalition is a community-wide collaborative of individuals, campus departments and community members interested in taking action for a healthier, safer campus environment.  The coalition meets quarterly to discuss programming, policy, research, education, grants and environmental issues and to support campus wide initiatives.

  • Interpersonal Violence Prevention

    The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Council provides leadership in the development and evaluation of programs, initiatives, policies, and environmental strategies to improve safety and well-being for the students, faculty, and staff of Kennesaw State University.

  • Sexual Health
    The Sexual Health Council seeks to increase knowledge and enhance resources in order to improve students’ sexual health, increase safer sex behaviors, reduce STI and HIV transmission, and reduce the number of unintended pregnancies.
  • Mental Health
    The Mental Health Council is a group of faculty, staff, and students who seek to advocate for policy and practices that reduces stigma and facilitates optimal mental wellness for the KSU community.
  • Nutrition
    The Nutrition Council provides campus leadership in the development and evaluation of healthy eating and other nutrition-related initiatives.
  • Physical Activity
    The Physical Activity Council seeks to develop and evaluate programs, initiatives, policies, services, programs, and environmental strategies to increase physical activity for the Kennesaw State University community. The council consists of physical activity professionals as well those with a vested interest in the topic.
  • Public Safety/Injury Prevention
    The Public Safety/Injury Prevention Council seeks to improve the overall safety of our campus community by the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, policies, services, and initiatives.
  • General Wellness
    The General Wellness Council works to promote education, enhance dialogue and improve access to those programs which allow our community to stay well to focus on their academics. By promoting good sleep hygiene, how to avoid common illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, increasing on campus access to routine vaccines, we can help students better achieve academic success.
  • Employee Wellness
    The Employee Wellness Council works to increase the health and well-being of all KSU employees through a systematic effort of enhancing wellness through education, behavioral change, and cultural support.
